Choosing college major is a serious topic in my country, because it's hard for a student who is 18 years old to make such an important decision. Usually choosing a proper major for a student really depends on how much their parents know about the world. I have seen many excellent students who got a high score in the exams, but chose a major they didn't like or a major which couldn't provide a good career. So, more and more parents are concerned about choosing a great major for their children in the future. In that case, a new kind of jobs appears. Some people focus on learning the information about different colleges and their majors. They also learn the relation between a major and a good job. Then they offer paid service for parents who want to help their children choose a great major. At the beginning, it does work for the anxious parents. But after a few years, everyone wants to choose the recommended majors caused the score for a good major got really higher than what it should be. Many students didn't get the access to their desried major. So, parents become anxious again.

I have recently started to really enjoy my dance group activities at university. I have always liked dancing. When I was in high school, I joined the dance club, and I loved it very much. The seniors and classmates were all kind, and the atmosphere was really fun. I wanted to dance every day, and I felt very happy being in the club. 　After entering university, I joined a dance group again. At first, it was not easy for me because I'm a shy person. I could not make many friends at the beginning, and I often felt nervous. Sometimes, I even worried about whether I would enjoy the practices or fit in with everyone. However, after spending more time with other members, I gradually got to know many people. I became friends with both seniors and juniors, and I started to feel comfortable in the group. Now, every practice is really fun, and I look forward to it. 　In addition, recently, I turned 20, so I can drink alcohol legally in Japan. This has made the social events after practice even more enjoyable. I hope to get closer to everyone and make even more good memories in the future. Being part of this group has made my university life much happier.

Last month, I started to plan my daily routine. I booked the English lesson twice a week to keep my speaking fluency. I also workout once a week and attend Korean class every Saturday for three hours. I’m not completely sure if this routine is enough, hopefully it will help me become more confident when speaking English.
