One of the most interesting things about traveling is to taste the delicious local snackes. These kinds of food are usually very different from what we eat in our hometown. Maybe some of them look very faimilar, but actually they have their own unique flavour. During my last trip , I tried a new type of cola which had vinegar in it. The place I visited is famous for its tasty vinegar. So, besides local tranditional snackes, many popular worldwide snackes have been modified to fit local tastes, such as the cola I drank. It tasted a little bit sour first, but then tasteed like the common cola sold in other places. So, I won't be suprised when I see people abroad eat Chinese noodles with forks. You might see people eat noodles in a KFC restruant when visit China, too. The world is full of suprises that wait us to find them. So, what are you waiting for?

In Japan, the Osaka world expo has been held since April 13th, but it will be over on October 13th. It means today! I have seen many the expo-related news online and on TV. Some of my coworkers and friends visited there and really enjoyed many different pavilions and so on. Unfortunately, I didn't go to the expo because I couldn't seem to draw a raffle ticket. According to the online article I was interested in, they showcased cutting-edge technologies which can change the future. Some people might have already known, but let me share some of the interesting technologies here. 1) Flying cars. They are a vertical take-off and landing aircrafts which can bring people and things by electric power. The developers aim to make them easier to use like cars and hope they will become things in close contact with people's life. 2) Electric vehicle buses. They can charge by wireless power transfer technology(WPT) while running. They are also auto-driving buses with Level-4. The developers aim to reduce an environmental impact and believe that it will be a future public transportation. 3) A hydrogen-fueled ship. It can move by electric power generated by hydrogen and oxygen and is eco-friendly because of CO2 zero emission. Compared to conventional ships, there are no noise, vibration or smells of fuel. I believe that it won't take much time to commercialize those state-of-the-art technologies and I expect I will experience them in the future.

Yesterday night, when my daughter asked me the most confusing question, time travel comes into my mind. She told me that she really wanted to know what the outside of the universal was. It reminded of the same question I had asked my father when I was a kid. I didn't know how to answer my daughter just like what my father did many years ago. Then I got out her home and stood by the window. When I looked up to the night sky, I had a strong will of having a time travel to the very beginning of the universal. Then I could know the true origin of the universal. Then I noticed a plant in the living room. A green leaf looked really charming under the light. I have heard a saying from buddhist texts which told us the a leaf was an entire world. Many ancient people couldn't understood what that saying mean until we found the tiny world with microscope. So, what is the tiniest element in the world? Quark? Maybe not! Actually we only know a little about the world. So, time travel can't figure out my problem, either.

Reading the first two lines of Goethe’s poem “the cuckoo like the Nightingale”, I can't help but think that "Sad to have chilly spring shut in this lonely place, while the Sun is setting in cuckoo's cries"; also makes people feel the feeling of loneliness that "spring going gone". Of course, it is impossible for Goethe to have read Qin Guan's poems, and at the beginning of Qin's poems: "The towers are lost in the fog, The ferry is obscure under the moon, The peach blossoms are nowhere to find." describes the misty night that completely blocks the way to the quiet road of the peach blossoms, which is very different from the scenery and artistic conception of this poem. Goethe used the sparse branches and leaves which cover the spring scenery on the terrace in summer, insinuating that in a realistic and rational life circle, the road to his orient is cut off, just like "The peach blossoms are nowhere to find."
