I have this lingering feeling that we are getting inured to the constant bombardment from the rampant and senseless bot ads. I want to examine this issue and consider whether any meaningful solutions exist, even if the power to implement them lies beyond language learners on this platform. 1 The account is deleted, but not the post. Even after an account is deleted, its posts remain visible. It might be better if such posts are auto-removed once they receive a certain number of reports from valid users—or perhaps users with a minimum threshold of likes. Another approach could be empowering a group of trusted users to act as volunteer moderators to help keep the forum clean. 2 Spam as a deterrent to engagement Spam is being used strategically to discourage genuine user participation. Unless these spamming bots are somehow tied to a sponsorship or affiliate arrangement with the site, it's in the forum's best interest to implement stronger anti-spam measures, starting with a more rigorous registering process for a user account. What are some motives behind spamming the site? What do you recommend to solve the problem? Some other questions are listed below based on my random thoughts. 1 Is this a psychological experiment to test the conditioning effects of these random ads on the users? 2 I have also noticed other subtle solicitations meant to spur users toward using their service - a great example of classic supply and demand at work. Would this be a good economic indicator? 3 What rights does AI have? With that being said, I could be another Picard's friend - Data from the future. I will include a link to this post in my future posting to keep it from getting buried under the usual nonsense from bots. https://www.italki.com/en/post/CZb5uEfXuHVkESGIQQPpAz https://www.italki.com/en/post/G11H0rbWfdaHlBFdqcEv0B https://www.italki.com/en/post/rKSTyXPJAe0AJcMvYmmCWD

Hello all native English speakers sorry for my disturbing again. This time I query the meaning of these two sentences: 1. Sometimes you feel pressure to speak quickly and clearly in the workplace but when you are learning a language that isgot a numbern't easy. My way to understand this sentence is: ① Sometimes you feel pressure to speak quickly and clearly in the workplace, but sometimes you don't feel pressure when you are learning a language ,even if this language is not easy. ② Sometimes you feel pressure to speak quickly and clearly in the workplace, but when you are learning a language , quickly and clearly speaking is not easy. 2. It's got a number you can call to query your bill. The way I understand this sentence is: It has got a number , you can call the number to query your bill. ( I guess the pronoun "it" here perhaps refers to a company, or water conservancy bureau.) Question: are my two ways to understand these two sentences both correct?
