Would you like to learn Japanese from scratch? We use the textbook Genki. With this book, you will learn Japanese step by step and at the end of the book 1, you will reach A1 / JLPT 5 level. The book 2 will help you reach A2 / JLPT 4 level.

Learning Japanese from zero

Please share your interests. We will look for a reading material online, read it together and talk about it. You will expand your knowledge of vocabulary, phrases, background of the article. This will give you an opportunity to improve your speaking skill too. It would be great if we could share the article in advance so we can better prepare.

Reading an article and talk about it

Please share your interests and we talk about the topics. You will practice to talk, acquire more fluency, and learn new vocabulary and phrases for what you want to express orally.

As a sales person in the banking industry both for retail and wholesale customers for more than 10 years in the past, I have a good experience and knowledge of very professional and formal communication. This lesson will be helpful also to practice for your profession.

Conversation (in a casual / day-to-day / professional setting)

Please bring your homework you need help for. It can be homework from a language school where you normally attend in-person, or homework for your child who lives abroad and attends a Japanese class once a week. As a mother, I have been helping mine for many years.
It would be helpful if you could send me what you need help for in advance.

Do you have a text you wrote in Japanese and look for someone to check it? Please bring your writing and I will correct it if needed. It can be a day-to-day text or a formal one. You will expand your knowledge of vocabulary and phrases.
