Engaging Conversational English 

In this class you can get to know me as a teacher. This is a good lesson for those wanting practice with a native speaker to gain confidence in English, get better pronunciation, and improve your skills in speaking. 

All levels of English are welcome. I am here to meet you at your level, increase your speaking skills, and help you become comfortable speaking English. 

I am flexible on the topic for the class. Usually first lesson is introductions, practicing every day conversations, and getting to know each other. 

Common topics in class: 
- every day conversation 
- basic introductions  
- building on vocabulary in every day 
- how to be conversational with other native speakers 

Of course other topics are welcome, just let me know. I am open to other topics and helping you become the best you can be. Can't wait to meet you in class.

I am a native speaker and can help you can your fluency and confidence. Whether you are looking to learn English slang, practicing pronunciation, or just want to have practice so you can gain confidence in English than look no further.

Conversational English

English Phonics for kids :) 

Do you want your child to learn the ALPHABET? In the course your child will learn the alphabet, phonics sounds, basic blends, and more. 

The lesson includes: 
-  alphabet big and small letters and the alphabet sounds
- basic CVC blends  ( r-e-d, t-e-d , c-a-t , b-a-t.... etc) 
- blends to enhance basic reading & listening skills 

**Resources are provided 

The classes include interactive games, listening activities, matching, basic reading, and phonics related books or songs. All the resources are provided. 30-45 minute lessons are preferred and around 2 times a week is efficient for the young learners. If your child cannot focus for long, then 30 min lesson only and twice a week for 1-2 months and the child will progress quickly. Consistency is key with helping them learn phonics, basic blends, and the alphabet sounds.

Phonics

This lesson is suitable for all ages (young learners, teens, and adults). In the lesson we will expand vocabulary, do reading practice, reading comprehension, and pronunciation if needed. 

If they are brand new to English, the books will be simple. I help young learners to learn to read. I have suitable resources for 3-6 year old reading level. The class is most suitable for reading level 3-6 years old. This class helps them learn to read, increase their reading level (Ex) from AR 2 to AR 3). 

If you are an intermediate- advanced reader, let me know so I can prepare the materials for the class. We can arrange a book, articles, or if you have a resource we can use it for the lesson upon request.

 What to expect:

Young learners:
In the young children's reading lesson we often take turns reading.
In the class we can also just read and you listen a long and learn the vocabularies for younger learners. Eventually, the goal is to get them to read though this is only okay at the beginning. 
Teens: My goal is to help people read more and increase their reading skill. I also help with explaining new vocabularies and reading comprehension of the reading materials. We might do small writing exercises related to comprehension of the reading materials. 

Adults: the main focus is discussion, comprehension, and critical thinking for the adult lessons. This helps not only with reading practice, but also to build ideas and formulate opinions, gather facts, and discuss about the articles and resources from the reading class. 

I have many successful students in my reading classes and am very happy to continue to teach and help others with their improvement in their reading skills. I hope to see you soon :)

Reading Practice

Is your child in primary school and you want to enhance their writing skills? 

In this course we will learn about storytelling and how to tell stories in a creative way. We can write our own creative stories and discuss how to write. 

This class is most suitable for primary age students from 7-12 years of age. This skill set will enhance their English and get them to use their creativity. I will provide the skills and resources needed for the course. 

What you can expect for your child to get out of the course: 
- creative skills for writing 
- storytelling both verbal and written 
- learn how to be adaptable and innovative 
- allow the child to use their imagination to learn and tell stories

Please note for adults you can enroll in the course too, but it is meant for beginners in writing. The writing classes usually have writing prompts, fill in the story, or write something based off of the picture. It is meant for beginner's level.

I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in clinical and counseling.

Experience being the English teacher for grade 1. Responsible for all lesson planning, discipline, and being able to teach Thai students English for the first time. Taught them how to read, write, and speak clearly with their teacher.
