A very practical and professional lesson about e-commerce. We discuss spending habits, technology and business trends, the future of retail, and the economics of online shopping. In this lesson, we'll do a lot of partner work where students will ask and answer questions about online shopping and about the business model behind online stores. We'll learn professional, yet modern, business English language related to technology, the internet, commerce, trends, and success. There's a short article that will provide a base for a case study about Amazon. We'll also predict the future of the industry and talk about the digital generation. We'll finish with a debate about the effects of E-commerce on local economies.
