INTRODUCTION: Not sure what your speaking level is at the moment but want to know? Here’s your chance to find out. In this “Quickies Series” class, you’ll take a live test and get performance-based results pinpointing your speaking level all within 45 minutes. IN THIS CLASS: (1) You will get a brief overview of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) levels for speaking skills. (2) You will take an online test evaluating your speaking skills based on the CEFR. THIS CLASS IS FOR: (1) Those who have good reading and listening skills. (2) Those who want to test their speaking skills to learn their level. MATERIALS NEEDED: Quickies: Learn Your Level – Speaking Skills Note-Taking Sheet (download from lesson page) PREPARATION: (1) Decide the name you prefer the teacher and group members to call you during the session, and enter it as your Display Name on Zoom. (2) Have an email address ready to share with the teacher during the class session. (3) Make sure your computer or phone (must be up-to-date) has a working camera and microphone, and that another program or app is not using them before taking the test. (4) Make sure you have one of the following browsers on your device: Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge. BONUS: Receive both a certificate indicating your level and a report that details your level and performance across multiple categories.
