What is a conditional

Definition of conditionals 
Students can learn how to express possibilities, hypothetical situations, and cause-and-effect relationships using conditionals. These structures help them talk about the present, future, and imaginary scenarios with clarity and precision.

Types of Conditionals 

Zero Conditional - Expresses facts and routine - "If you heat ice, it melts"
First Conditionals- Expresses real future possibilities -"If I study, I'll pass the test"
Second Conditional- Expresses unreal or hypothetical present/future-" If I were rich, I'd travel the world"
Third Conditional - Imaginary past situations-"If I had studied, I would have passed"
Mixed Conditionals - Expresses past conditionals with present results-"If I had slept, I wouldn't be tired"
