Erin analyzes our cultural approach to speaking, giving negative feedback, power structures, persuasion, decision-making, confrontation, and our approach to time. A chapter is dedicated to each subject and includes a graph mapping how different countries relate to each other, real world examples, and tips on how to navigate each subject when working cross-culturally. It is highly likely you will read something that reminds you of a past event. How This Class Works: **IMPORTANT - The book is not included in the Class price - you need to provide your own copy. You will be expected to read the assigned chapter BEFORE class** The book will be discussed over 8 classes - one chapter per class with a focus on how American Culture relates to other world cultures. This is Class 7 (there are 8 Classes total). You may attend all of the classes or choose specific classes that interest you.
