This means adapting the material and language level to the situation. Indeed, we don’t usually speak in daily life the way a journalist does on the news. And we don’t write a formal report as we would an email to a friend. So knowing your goals and why you are learning French is essential. I try to stick to French as much as possible during the lessons in order to build up your confidence. In writing though, depending on your level, I might use English to make things clearer. For young children, I'll focus on learning through games and little stories.
