And the little prince, completely abashed, went to look for a sprinkling-can of fresh water. So, he tended the flower.

— "Qu'est-ce que tu fais, Léo ?"
— "Je cherche ma balle !"

Baguette et Léo cherchent partout ! 🔍
Sous la table, derrière la chaise…
toujours pas de balle.

Soudain, Baguette regarde sous le canapé.
— "Léo, regarde ! Elle est là !"

🐱 Léo et la balle perdue 🎾

“One city that I really find so interesting is Venice, which I think has to be one of the most amazing, and fascinating cities in the world. Venice is located in… I think….the north of Italy, on the coast,and is one of the most popular tourist destinations… not just in Italy but, anywhere in the world today.

 

Venice is known as the city of canals, and there are so many things Venice is famous for including its beautiful bridges, gondola rides, historical buildings…. interesting old streets…..Oh! and also the Venice carnival, which looks like so much fun.

 

I remember I first learned about Venice back when i was in high school, and we studied the Shakespeare play “The merchant of Venice……. I can still remember my English teacher showing us a short video showing all the sites of Venice……… I remember thinking…..wow! This has to be one of the most amazing cities i’ve ever seen, and decided this is a place i must visit in the future.

 

Venice with all of its magnificent….. historical buildings, ancient bridges and water really looks like no other city in the world today. It almost looks like something from a movie set, and it’s amazing to think that this is actually a real place, that still remains and looks the same as it did hundreds of years ago. I think that’s what really makes it so interesting in my mind.

 

There are no ugly modern or high rise buildings, which again just makes it such an interesting city compared to other popular tourist cities.

 

  I really think there are no other cities that can be compared to Venice, and it is truly a unique city, with more interesting and fascinating sites than you can imagine.”

Japanese daily life podcast のAtsushiです。
このPodcastは、日本語を楽しく勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。

ぼくの日常生活の話を聞くことで、日本語のリスニングをよくしたり、新しい言葉を知ってもらえたらいいなと思います。

みなさんお元気でしょうか。
今日もトルコからPodcastを録っています。

このPodcast、なんと400回を超えました！👏
みなさんの日本語学習の役に立っているとうれしいです。

なかなか聞いてくれている人の反応を見ることはできないんですけど、ぼくの日本語レッスンを受けている方からは、役に立ってるよ！とか、よく聞いてます！とか、このエピソードで使ってた文法について話したいという話を聞くことができます。

こういうみなさんからの反応はぼくのモチベーションを高めてくれます。ありがとうございます！

で、400回目はなんの話をしようかなと考えてたんですけど、長く続けるコツ、TIPSについてお話しようかなと思います。

全ての人にあてはまるかはわかりません。ですけど、話してみますね。

ぼくは何かを続ける時、大切にしていることは3つあります。

・簡単なものにする(ハードルを下げる)
・タイミングを決める
・逃げ道を作る

ひとつずつ話します。

・簡単なものにする(ハードルを下げる)
　これは何かを習慣にする時、いつも1番大切にしていることです。誰でも何かを始めるときはモチベーションが高いです。でもそれはほとんどの場合、続きません。モチベーションは下がるものだからです。だからモチベーションが下がっても続けられる内容にするというのが大切です。
ぼくのPodcastでは、
　3〜5分ぐらいの短いエピソードにする
　トピックを決めておく
　むずかしくない簡単な話にする
こんなふうに決めています。

もしランニングを続けたいなら、はじめは10分走ることからはじめる、とかそんな感じです。


・タイミングを決める
　次にタイミングです。最近は日によって違う時もありますが、はじめの習慣を作る時は、いつも朝、10:00ぐらいから録っていました。同じタイミングにすると他の行動と連動してルーティンにしやすいです。たとえば朝ごはんのあとにする、と決めておくと朝ごはんは毎日食べるので、そのあとにすることが自然な流れになりやすいです。
　最近はトレーニングをする時間をシャワーから上がったあとにするようにしました。シャワーは毎日入るので、そのあとトレーニングをしやすくなります。慣れてくると、いちいち考えなくてもできるようになります。
　
・逃げ道を作る
　これはぼくの独特なコツかもしれません。
何かを続ける時、ハードにしたい人が多いかもしれないですが、ぼくはあえてゆるくできるように考えます。その方が続くからです。

それで、毎日したいんですけど、毎日しなくてもいい、というルールのようなものをあえて作ります。でも2.3日しないのはダメで、1日しなかったら次の日は必ずする、というようにしています。

そうすると、どうしてもやりたくない日は逃げることができます。それはメンタルにはとても良いと思います。

もし毎日しないといけない！と決めていると、もしできない日があったらめっちゃ落ち込みますよね。自分はダメだと考えるかもしれません。

でも人間はそういうものです。自分で決めたことを続けられない動物だと思います。それを自分で受け入れていると、できなかったことを自分の能力のせいにしなくなると思います。

と、こんな感じで、ぼくはPodcastを続けています。
ランニングやトレーニングも同じですね。
日本語学習をしている人は習慣にできている人は多いと思いますが、もし学習を習慣にしたい、と考えていたら、参考にしてみてください。
