第四个行星是一个实业家的星球。
The fourth planet belonged to a businessman.
这个人忙得不可开交，小王子到来的时候，他甚至连头都没有抬一下。
This man was so much occupiedthat he did not even raise his head at the little prince's arrival.
小王子对他说：“您好。您的烟卷灭了。”
"Good morning," the little prince said to him. "Your cigarette has gone out."
三加二等于五。五加七等于十二。十二加三等于十五。
Three and two make Five. Five and seven make twelve. Twelve and three make Fifteen.
你好。十五加七，二十二。二十二加六，二十八。
Good morning. Fifteen and seven make twenty-two.Twenty-twoand six make twenty-eight.
没有时间去再点着它。
I haven't time to light it again.
二十六加五，三十一。
Twenty-six and Five make thirty-one.
哎哟！一共是五亿一百六十二万二千七百三十一。

エピソード74　やっぱり練習は大切
きのう(2024年12月25日）、バイオリン教室のウインターコンサートがありました。
バイオリンで4曲の合奏をしました。
・パッフェルベル「カノン」
・モンティ　「チャールダッシュ」
・モーツアルト「アイネクライネナハトムジーク」
・バッハ「2つのバイオリンのための協奏曲」第1楽章
コンサートに向けて　毎日　短い時間でも　練習をしました。
私はこれまでの発表会ではいつもボロボロでした。でも、今回は違いました。
当日、完璧ではなかったけれども、コンサートで　うまく弾けました。それは、たくさん練習して自信ができたからだと思います。語学の学習も同じだと思います。練習をして　話してみる。うまく言えなければ、また練習して　トライする。それが　大切だと思います。みなさんの日本語学習も応援しています。

Impersonal verbs are verbs that do not use a specific subject, but instead use the generic subject it. They’re often called “weather verbs” or “meteorological verbs” because they’re commonly used to describe the weather, like in the impersonal verb examples “it’s raining” or “it’s snowing.” 

 Words and phrases with asterisks mean that they are not always impersonal, depending on the meaning.

A Guide to Impersonal Verbs

すると猫は肩をまるくして 目をすぼめてはいましたが 口のあたりで にやにやわらっていいました。
「先生、そうお怒りになっちゃ、おからだにさわります。それよりシューマンのトロメライをひいてごらんなさい。きいてあげますから。」
「生意気なことをいうな。ねこのくせに。」
　セロ弾きは しゃくにさわって このねこのやつどうしてくれようと しばらく考えました。
「いやご遠慮はありません。どうぞ。わたしは どうも先生の音楽を きかないと ねむられないんです。」
「生意気だ。生意気だ。生意気だ。」
　ゴーシュはすっかりまっ赤になって ひるま楽長のしたように足ぶみして どなりましたが にわかに気を変えていいました。
「では弾くよ。」
　ゴーシュは何と思ったか 戸にかぎをかって 窓もみんなしめてしまい、それからセロをとりだして あかりを消しました。すると外から二十日過ぎの月のひかりが へやのなかへ 半分ほどはいってきました。
「何をひけと。」
「トロメライ、ロマチックシューマン作曲。」猫は口を ふいて すまして いいました。
「そうか。トロメライというのはこういうのか。」
　セロ弾きは何と思ったか まずハンケチを引きさいて じぶんの耳の穴へ ぎっしりつめました。それからまるで嵐のような勢いで「インドのとらがり」という譜を弾きはじめました。
　すると猫は しばらく首をまげて 聞いていましたが いきなりパチパチパチッと目をしたかと思うと ぱっと戸の方へ飛びのきました。そしていきなり どんと戸へ体をぶっつけましたが 戸はあきませんでした。猫は さあこれはもう一生一代の失敗をしたという風にあわてだして 目や額からパチパチ火花を出しました。するとこんどは 口のひげからも鼻からも出ましたから 猫はくすぐったがって しばらくくしゃみをするような顔をして それからまたさあこうしてはいられないぞというように はせあるきだしました。ゴーシュはすっかり面白くなって ますます勢いよくやり出しました。
「先生もうたくさんです。たくさんですよ。ご生ですからやめてください。これからもう先生のタクトなんかとりませんから。」
「だまれ。これからトラをつかまえるところだ。」
　猫はくるしがって はねあがって まわったり壁に体をくっつけたりしましたが 壁についたあとは しばらく青くひかるのでした。しまいは 猫はまるで風車のように ぐるぐるぐるぐるゴーシュをまわりました。
　ゴーシュもすこしぐるぐるしてきましたので、
「さあこれで許してやるぞ」といいながら ようようやめました。
