中国人常说 “家和万事兴”，家庭对我们很重要。一个大的家庭中有有爸爸妈妈爷爷奶奶，可能还有其他家庭成员。今天，我们跟着来自澳大利亚的麦克，一起学习中国人的家庭树。​
我的学生麦克来中国学习，他和李华是好朋友。春节快到了，李华和麦克说：“麦克，春节很好玩，来我家过年吧！” 麦克说：“好啊”​
春节那天，麦克来到李华家，见到了李华的家人。他们在厨房忙着做年夜饭呢，很热闹。李华和麦克，走到爸爸妈妈面前，对麦克说：“这是我的爸爸，这是我的妈妈。” 麦克说：“叔叔、阿姨新年好！” 李华的爸爸妈妈说：“麦克，你的中文说得真好！”​
这时，李华的爷爷戴着眼镜，拿着春联出来了。李华对麦克说：“这是我爷爷，爷爷是爸爸的爸爸。” 麦克说：“爷爷新年好！” 爷爷笑着说“欢迎你”​
不一会儿，李华的奶奶端着饺子出来了。李华对麦克说：“这是我奶奶，奶奶是爸爸的妈妈。” 麦克说：“奶奶新年好，饺子看起来很好吃！” 奶奶说：“是的，快尝一尝”​
吃年夜饭时，李华的叔叔、婶婶带着孩子来了。麦克问李华：“他们是谁？” 李华一边吃饺子，一边说：“这是我叔叔，我爸爸的弟弟，这是我婶婶，叔叔的妻子。” 大家听了都笑了，麦克也跟着笑，向叔叔、婶婶问好。​
晚饭后，大家坐在一起聊天。李华拿起一张照片，对麦克说：“麦克，这是我伯伯，爸爸的哥哥，这是我姑姑，爸爸的妹妹。” 麦克问：“那你妈妈的哥哥也是伯伯吗？” 李华说：“妈妈的哥哥和弟弟都叫舅舅，妈妈的姐妹叫姨妈。”​
麦克说：“中国人的家庭里称呼好多啊！在澳大利亚，很多亲戚称呼差不多，不像中国分得这么清楚。” 李华的爷爷说：“中国很大，很多地方亲戚称呼不一样。有的地方把爸爸的姐妹叫‘嬢嬢’。” 麦克说：“真有意思！”​
这个春节麦克学习了关于中国春节的知识，也知道了中国人的“family tree”。

Yesterday I did a podcast on "Birthday" and I came up with some questions for you to think about

What was the best birthday you ever had?
How old were you?
Who was there, who did you invite?
Did you have it at home? Did you cook?
or you had it in a restaurant/ cafe?
Why was it the best birthday for you?
What feelings, emotions did you experience?
What were the gifts you were given?
Which one was the best one?
Who was the most memorable person at the party?

Today I decided to answer it myself. 

I didn't prepare - I just told it how it is. 

I hope you'll get an idea that you don't have to be perfect when you are asked questions. You don't have to be X Y Z... You can just be you and enjoy it...

There is great in the mindset if you'll accept it through listening&agreeing with it.
