こんにちは。今日は7月13日土曜日です。「5分でわかる日本語」ポッドキャストへようこそ。私は日本語の先生、みわです。今日は、「回文（かいぶん）」についてお話しします。

「回文」とは、前から読んでも後ろから読んでも同じになる言葉のことです。日本語にはたくさんの面白い回文があります。今日は、いくつかの回文を紹介しながら、その魅力についてお話しします。

まず、簡単な例から始めましょう。

	1.	「トマト」
	•	これは丸くて赤い野菜です。前から読んでも「トマト」、後ろから読んでも「トマト」となります。簡単で覚えやすい回文です。トマトはサラダやスープに使うとおいしいですね。
	2.	「遠い音（とおいおと）」
	•	この言葉は、前から読んでも「とおいおと」、後ろから読んでも「とおいおと」になります。静かな夜に聞こえる音のようです。

他にも面白い回文をいくつか紹介しましょう。
	3.	「新聞紙（しんぶんし）」
	•	これは新聞のことです。前から読んでも「しんぶんし」、後ろから読んでも「しんぶんし」となります。新聞は、情報を得るのにとても大切です。
	4.	「うたうたう」
	•	歌うという動詞が入っています。前から読んでも「うたうたう」、後ろから読んでも「うたうたう」になります。みんなで一緒に歌うと楽しいですね。
	5.	「妻が待つ（つまがまつ）」
	•	奥さんが待っているという意味です。前から読んでも「つまがまつ」、後ろから読んでも「つまがまつ」となります。誰かを待つ時間も特別なものです。

では、少し難しい回文を紹介します。
	6.	「イタリアで暮らし、楽でありたい（いたりあでくらし、らくでありたい）」
	•	これは少し長いですが、前から読んでも後ろから読んでも同じになる回文です。イタリアはヨーロッパの国です。イタリアでのんびりと過ごしたいという気持ちが伝わりますね。
	7.	「竹やぶ焼けた（たけやぶやけた）」
	•	竹やぶとは、竹という木がたくさんある場所です。この言葉は、前から読んでも「たけやぶやけた」、後ろから読んでも「たけやぶやけた」になります。竹やぶが燃えた様子を表しています。

回文は、言葉遊びとしてとても楽しいものです。自分で新しい回文を作ってみるのも面白いですよ。

正解は「留守する」です。

La mère de Julie est professeur d’anglais. Le père de Julie est journaliste pour un journal américain. Les parents de Julie ont une maison à Paris. Ils ont une voiture et un garage.
Julie est élève à l’École américaine à Paris. Julie n’a pas d’auto. C’est dommage ! Mais elle a une bicyclette.
Pendant les vacances d’hiver, la famille de Julie va en Savoie, dans les Alpes. L’hiver, il fait très froid en Savoie et il y a beaucoup de neige. On fait du ski. Julie aussi fait du ski.
L’été à Paris, quand il fait beau, Julie va au jardin des Tuileries. C’est là qu’elle rencontre Marc.
Quand ils sont ensemble, ils parlent de beaucoup de choses. Marc parle plus que Julie. Il est plus bavard que son amie. Chouchou préfère écouter Julie.
Marc parle de sports, de sa guitare ou de ses photos parce qu’il est photographe. Tous les sports l’intéressent, et il aime surtout faire de la boxe.
Julie parle d’autres choses. Ses sports préférés sont le ski et le vélo. Elle parle de la musique parce qu’elle est musicienne. Elle étudie le piano au Conservatoire. Marc écoute Julie avec attention.

La tortuga Simona 🐢

Ingredients:
3 onions
3 carrots
2 potatoes
1 parsnip or turnip
3 celery sticks
250 g  mushrooms
1 ½ tbsp plain flour 
500 ml vegetable stock made with 1.5 stock cubes
1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp mixed herbs
2 dashes of Tabasco sauce
120 g frozen peas
Freshly ground pepper

Method:

Roughly chop all the vegetables (except frozen peas) and place in a large bowl.
Stir in the flour, herbs and pepper.
Tip into slow cooker.
To the stock add and mix in the Balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, tabasco sauce and tomato puree.
Pour over the vegetables.
Cook until vegetables are tender.
