はい、こんにちは。今回はポッドキャストの19回目です。やっとitalkiのビデオをアップデートしました。レッスンの内容も少しアップデートしました。リーディングのクラスを取る生徒さんが少なくなっていたので、代わりにJLPTのクラスを作りました。会話のクラスと文法のクラスは、今まで通り続けます。

Hello, this is episode 19 of season 2 of my podcast. I have finally updated the italki video. I have also updated my lessons a bit. As fewer students were taking the reading class, I created a JLPT class instead. The conversation and grammar classes will continue as before.

今日は回転寿司の話をします。日本ではレストランや、スーパーや、駅など、いろいろなところで寿司が買えます。なので、高い寿司と安い寿司があります。回転寿司は、一般的に、安い寿司が食べられるレストランです。安いので、学生や、子供がいる家族に人気です。一方で、マナーが悪い客が問題になっています。今年の１月、高校生が回転寿司で迷惑なことをして、SNSにアップロードする事件がありました。それから回転寿司のイメージが悪くなってしまい、日本では少し人気がなくなっています。

Today I will talk about kaitenzushi (conveyor belt sushi). In Japan, you can buy sushi at restaurants, supermarkets, train stations and many other places. So there is expensive sushi and cheap sushi. Kaitenzushi is generally a restaurant where you can eat cheap sushi. Because it is inexpensive, it is popular with students and families with children. On the other hand, customers with bad manners have become a problem. In January this year, there was an incident in which a high school student behaved badly at a kaitenzushi restaurant and uploaded it to social networking sites. Since then, the image of kaitenzushi has been tarnished and it has become a little less popular in Japan.

だけど、最近の回転寿司はとても便利です。回転寿司のチェーンは、ハイテク化が進んでいます。レストランで順番を待ったり、注文をしたり、お金を払ったりするプロセスを、全てセルフサービスで行える店があります。私は先週、初めて近所の回転寿司に行きました。便利で驚きました。座ったまま何でもできて、私が子供の頃行った回転寿司とは全然違いました。このチェーンでは、仕事を全部AIに任せて、完全に無人にする計画があるそうです。「無人」とは、まったく人がいないことです。SFみたいですね。

When we engage with vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening, we not only strengthen our fluency but also nurture our heart. Vocabulary connects to emotional memory, grammar creates balance, reading calms through breath, writing heals stress, speaking vibrates through the chest, and listening fosters compassion. Different languages such as Malay, English, Chinese, French, Dutch, and Italian resonate with the heart chakra in unique ways, from soothing rhythm to expressive melody. By studying through the heart, we don’t just learn words—we cultivate love, resilience, and healing in both body and soul.
