日本では、毎年、年末になるとその年の流行語大賞というものが選ばれます。1年の間に話題になった出来事や発言、流行などの中からその年を代表することばを選ぶ賞です。毎年30のことばがノミネートされて、その後にトップ10が選ばれるようです。

その中で、おもしろい言葉が入っていたので紹介しますね。

それは、知らんけど、です。
これ、関西弁なんです。
そして、昔からある言葉です。
関西人どうしでは、少なくとも1日1回は使ってるかもしれないですね。知らんけど。

とこんな感じで使う言葉です。
ちょっと簡単に説明します。

関西人特有なのかわからないですけど、とりあえずなんでもちょっと知ってることは話しはじめるんですね。で、話してる途中に、これ間違ってたら嫌やな、って思ったり、責任を持ちたくないので、最後に知らんけど、ってつけるんです。

でもこれは関西人は結構使ってるので、関西人どうしでは全く問題ないですね。だいたいみんな、知らんのかい！ってつっこんで終わります。たぶんね、知らんけど。

例文、
『スラムダンクの映画はアニメ派には酷評、原作派には好評らしいよ、知らんけど』

最近の話ですけど、日本の漫画のスラムダンクが映画で始まったんですね。ぼくも来週見に行こうと思ってます。でもこの映画は結構、いろんな意見があるみたいです。それで、友達と話す時は、例文のような会話がある、という感じですね。
