Hacer la cobra

In this story, a grape named Sweety supports his grapevine as they face an attack from children. This is Part 4 of 5. 

The farmhouse was home to a small family who owned and operated the winery. Their three children, two twin girls and a boy, loved playing hide and seek in the maze-like structure of the grapevines. 

The eldest sister was chasing her brother, who was the youngest of the three, through the alleyways of the vineyard. In order to keep their balance as they sped around the corners, they would grab hold of a grapevine and swing themselves around, almost launching themselves like a slingshot. They laughed with carefree delight, enjoying the acrobatics of their game. Little did they know just how traumatizing this was for the inhabitants of the vines. 

Sweety held on with every bit of strength he had. His vine was shaking tremendously as the children swung themselves around. Fear gripped every grape on that vine. They all remembered the horrific moments of their brothers and sisters falling to their deaths. 

Sweety thought that this shaking was more than anything a storm could do. Maybe it would even be enough to tear down the entire vine. Being a natural-born leader and the spiritual guardian of his vine, Sweety knew he had to do something. 

“Hey!” screamed Sweety. “Stop your foolish game! Can’t you see you’re killing us! Play somewhere else and leave our homeland alone!” 

The eldest sister hesitated for a moment. She swore she heard something, like a faint voice, but she quickly disregarded it and continued playing. Sweety’s voice was tiny, almost inaudible. The sound of a stick breaking was far louder than his attempt at communicating with the humans. 

Round and round the kids went. They chased each other, grabbing the weak grapevines and spinning. With each spin, a few grapes fell to their death. All around, Sweety saw innocent grapes suffering their lowest honor.

Elena se encontraba en su estudio, frente a su ordenador, intentando encontrar la inspiración para su próxima novela. De pronto, un golpe sordo resonó en la puerta principal. Al abrir, se encontró con un sobre manila sin remitente. Con el corazón acelerado, lo abrió y encontró un solo papel con una frase escrita a mano: "El mar guarda secretos".

Intrigada, Elena salió a la calle y se dirigió al faro, un lugar al que solía ir para encontrar paz y tranquilidad. Allí, mientras contemplaba el inmenso océano, recordó una antigua leyenda local que hablaba de un tesoro escondido en las profundidades del mar y de una maldición que pesaba sobre aquellos que intentaran encontrarlo.

Al regresar a su casa, Elena se encontró con Martín, quien había venido a informarle sobre una serie de extraños sucesos que habían estado ocurriendo en el pueblo: desapariciones inexplicables, pesadillas recurrentes entre los habitantes y un creciente sentimiento de temor.

Martín, al escuchar la historia de Elena y el mensaje misterioso, se dio cuenta de que ambos hechos podrían estar conectados. Juntos, decidieron investigar más a fondo, adentrándose en un laberinto de secretos y peligros que los llevarían a descubrir una verdad oculta que sacudiría los cimientos del pueblo.

Beyoncé has now won more Grammys than any other artist in history, having brought her total to 32 at the award ceremony on February 5. That's one more than late conductor Georg Solti, who previously held the record.

Beyoncé won best R&B song for "Cuff It," best dance/electronic music recording for "Break My Soul" and best traditional R&B performance for "Plastic Off the Sofa." She then won best dance/electronic music album for Renaissance, which was also nominated for album of the year.

However, that top award went to British singer-actor, Harry Styles, for Harry's House.

Lizzo won record of the year — a category that awards all of the contributors on a single song — for "About Damn Time," giving a speech that brought many in the audience, including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Adele, to their feet.

"I wanted to make the world a better place, so I had to be that change to make the world a better place. Now, I look around and see these songs are about loving your body and feeling comfortable in your skin and feeling good."



Sam Smith and Kim Petras won best pop duo-group performance for their song "Unholy." Petras said Smith wanted Petras to make the acceptance speech because "I'm the first transgender woman to win this award."

Petras also thanked friend and Grammy-nominated musician Sophie, who died after an accidental fall in Athens, Greece in 2021.

"Thank you so much for your inspiration, Sophie. I adore you, and your inspiration will forever be in my music," she said.

An Iranian singer, who is facing possible prison time for his music, won the award for best song for social change.

Shervin Hajipour couldn't be at the Los Angeles ceremony to receive his award for "Baraye" — which means "For." But he appeared stunned by his win in a video shared online.

"Baraye's" lyrics list the reasons many young people in Iran have been protesting in recent months, ending with the popular slogan, "For women, life, freedom."
