Easy Malayalam Stories 4 — The Onam Feast, and the Lost Slipper
Beschreibung
An Onam sadya on a banana leaf, and a small domestic mystery, in slow and simple Malayalam.
This is where you meet the past tense properly. The present ends in -ഉന്നു; past endings vary (-ഇ, -ച്ചു, -ത്തു, -ന്നു), so learn each past form alongside its present, as children do. You also get plurals with -കൾ, and ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു (there was) and ആയിരുന്നു (was). Each episode works the same way: the story line by line with English, the grammar point, then the story again at speed with no English. Don't skip that last pass.
