週末、美容院に行ったよー！半年くらい前にボブにしてもうボブが楽(らく)すぎて楽すぎて...。いつも行っている美容院があるんだけど、今回は気分転換(てんかん)に違う美容院に行って少し切ってもらう予定だったんだよね。

I went to the hairdresser this weekend! I got a bob about 6 months ago and it's already too easy and comfortable... I have a hair salon that I usually go to, but this time I was going to go to a different one to get it cut a little for a change.

いつもは結(むす)べるギリギリくらいの長さに切ってもらうんだけど、まさかの！切られすぎた～。なんか、前髪(まえがみ)もカラーも変だし、結局2週間後にまたいつもの美容院行ったんだよね。ブリーチするかどうか悩んだんだけど、傷むのもいやーって美容師(びようし)さんに相談(そうだん)したら、今はダブルカラーっていうのが人気って教えてもらったからそれをお願いしたんだよね。たしかにブリーチしたときほど傷(いた)んではないんだけど、ちょっと髪がキシキシしてる感じがするかな。

I usually get them to cut it just long enough to tie it up, but no way! She was cut too much! Something was wrong with my bangs and color, and I ended up going back to my regular hair salon two weeks later. I wondered whether I should bleach my hair or not, but I didn't want to damage it, so I talked to the hairdresser about it, and she told me that double coloring is popular now, so I asked her to do that.It's true that my hair is not as damaged as when I bleached it, but it does feel a little bit squeaky. 

最近、日本では韓国のメイクとか髪型が流行ってって、私が行った美容院もそういう髪型を推してるところなんだよね。日本はまだみんなマスクしてるんだけど、髪を耳にかけたときに、前髪と後ろの髪の間に毛がないので、そこだけハゲて見えちゃうんだよね。そのこめかみの部分に「天使(てんし)の羽根(はね)バング」っていうのを作るのが人気なの。説明がむずしいからググってみてね。結構(けっこう)みんなしてるから、日本のテレビ見るときに注意(ちゅうい)してみてみて！

Recently, Korean makeup and hair styles have become popular in Japan, and the hair salon I went to is one that promotes such hairstyles. In Japan, everyone still wears masks, but when you put your hair over your ears, there is no hair between the front and back of your head, so you look bald there. So, it is very popular to create a bang called "Tenshi no Hane Bang" at the temples. It's hard to explain, so you'll have to Google it. It's pretty common, so pay attention when you watch Japanese TV!

나는 어릴 때부터 새로운 언어를 배우는 것에 관심이 많았다. 외국어를 잘하면 더 많은 사람과 소통할 수 있고, 새로운 문화를 경험할 수 있기 때문이다. 하지만 언어를 배우는 과정은 쉽지 않았다. 처음에는 단어를 외우는 것도 어렵고, 문장을 만드는 것도 쉽지 않았다. 그러나 꾸준히 공부하다 보니 점점 나아지는 것을 느낄 수 있었다.

언어를 배우기 위해 가장 중요한 것은 꾸준함이다. 처음에는 열심히 공부하지만 시간이 지나면서 점점 포기하는 사람들이 많다. 그러나 언어 실력은 하루아침에 늘지 않는다. 매일 조금씩이라도 공부하는 것이 실력을 키우는 데 도움이 된다. 예를 들어, 하루에 단어 10개씩 외우거나, 간단한 문장을 만들어 보면 점점 자신감이 생길 것이다.

듣기 연습도 매우 중요하다. 처음에는 원어민의 말을 전혀 알아들을 수 없지만, 계속 듣다 보면 익숙해질 것이다. 나는 공부할 때 드라마나 영화를 활용하는 편이다. 자막 없이 들으면 어렵지만, 자막을 보면서 듣다 보면 점점 자연스러운 표현을 익힐 수 있다. 특히, 같은 영상을 여러 번 반복해서 들으면 듣기 실력이 더 빨리 향상될 수 있다.

또한, 말하기 연습을 할 때는 완벽하게 말하려고 하지 않는 것이 중요하다. 많은 사람이 실수를 두려워해서 말을 하지 않으려고 한다. 그러나 틀려도 괜찮으니까 자주 말해 보는 것이 중요하다. 나는 처음에 거울을 보면서 연습했다. 그리고 나중에는 외국인 친구와 대화하면서 자연스럽게 말하기 연습을 했다. 처음에는 어색했지만, 계속 하다 보니 점점 더 자신감이 생겼다.

문법 공부도 빠질 수 없다. 문법을 잘 알아야 정확한 문장을 만들 수 있다. 나는 새로운 문법을 배울 때, 그 문법을 사용해서 직접 문장을 만들어 보는 연습을 했다. 예를 들어, "한국어를 배우려고 해요" 라는 표현을 배웠다면, "저는 일본어도 배우려고 해요"와 같이 문장을 만들어 보았다. 이렇게 연습하면 배운 내용을 더 오래 기억할 수 있다.

읽기와 쓰기도 언어 실력을 높이는 데 중요한 역할을 한다. 처음에는 쉬운 글부터 읽기 시작하는 것이 좋다. 나는 동화책이나 짧은 뉴스 기사를 읽으면서 새로운 단어를 익혔다. 그리고 배운 표현을 활용해서 짧은 글을 써 보았다. 처음에는 실수가 많았지만, 조금씩 고쳐 가면서 더 자연스러운 문장을 쓸 수 있게 되었다.

무엇보다도, 언어 공부는 재미있게 해야 오래 지속할 수 있다. 공부를 해야 한다고 생각하면 쉽게 지칠 수 있지만, 즐기면서 하면 더 오래 할 수 있다. 나는 좋아하는 가수의 노래 가사를 보면서 공부하거나, 게임처럼 단어를 외우는 방법을 사용했다. 이렇게 하면 공부가 지루하지 않고 더 재미있어질 수 있다.

결국, 언어 공부에서 가장 중요한 것은 포기하지 않는 것이다. 실수를 두려워하지 않고, 다양한 방법을 시도하면서 꾸준히 연습하면 누구나 원하는 언어를 잘할 수 있다. 나는 앞으로도 계속 새로운 언어를 배우면서 더 많은 사람과 소통하고, 다양한 문화를 경험하고 싶다.

Applied to language learning, this means letting go of the struggle and resistance that often arise when we view learning as something external to conquer. Instead of thinking, “I need to learn this grammatical rule,” shift your mindset to, “The exploring of how this rule expresses ideas is entering this very moment in time.” Instead of seeing a vocabulary list as a hurdle, see it as the vocabulary becoming immersed with your very being.

Non-duality teaches us to embrace the process fully, without judgment or the pressure of results. When you sit down to study, there is no "you" trying to learn the language; there is only learning happening. This mindset helps dissolve resistance and makes the process more intuitive.
