みなさんこんにちは、みほです。いかがお過(す)ごしでしょうか。私のポッドキャスト「Mihongo Nihongo」へようこそ。このポッドキャストでは、私が短いエピソードを話します。内容(ないよう)についての質問をいくつか用意(ようい)しているので、音声(おんせい)を聞きながら質問の答えを考えてくださいね。

今日のエピソードは、「インフルエンザ」です。質問は3つです。
①私は今までに何回インフルエンザになったことがありますか？
②私の夫が熱(ねつ)を出したのはいつですか？

みなさんはインフルエンザになったことはありますか。私はあります。初めての時は10年以上前、2回目は今年の2月でした。2月のとある月曜日、朝から息子(むすこ)が熱を出しました。インフルエンザでした。水曜日の朝、私も少し体調(たいちょう)が悪くなって、夕方(ゆうがた)から熱が出ました。日曜日の夕方、今度(こんど)は夫(おっと)が熱を出しました。家族(かぞく)全員(ぜんいん)インフルエンザになってしまいました。子供がいる家庭(かてい)で、病気に感染(かんせん)しないようにするのは、本当に難しいなと思いました。


ではもう一度質問を確認(かくにん)しましょう。
①私は今までに何回インフルエンザになったことがありますか？
②私の夫が熱(ねつ)を出したのはいつですか？
③私が難(むずか)しいと思うことはなんですか？


答えです。
①私は今までに２回インフルエンザになったことがあります。
②私の夫が熱(ねつ)を出したのは日曜日の夕方です。
③私が難(むずか)しいと思うことは、子供がいる家庭(かてい)で、病気に感染(かんせん)しないようにすることです。

Today, I want to tell you all about emotional support chickens. It seems that a nursing home here in the UK has been offered chickens by a local school in order to take away the loneliness of it’s residents and help them feel better.

Nursing Homes and Care Homes are places where we put older people who cannot look after themselves.

It's hoped that the chickens will bring residents a number of benefits. From fostering a sense of community to reducing mental health problems. Now, I'm not sure about you but for me, I'd probably rather have the cash or if  there’s perhaps other opportunities, maybe I’d prefer to talk to someone. These chickens don't actually have to be bought.It looks like they were given free to this nursing home. 

But still, if they're going to give away chickens, I'd rather have the cash.
