Aisha è nata ad Assilah, in Marocco e vive a Torino nel quartiere di San Paolo. Ogni giorno per andare a lavoro in via Nizza prende la metropolitana. Aisha vive in un appartamento con il fidanzato Matteo, che è originario di Catanzaro, il loro bambino Pierpaolo, il gatto Galileo e il cane Michelangelo. Matteo lavora come programmatore per una famosa ditta di computer americana. Aisha lavora come insegnante di matematica nella scuola superiore. Siccome oggi è sabato, Aisha non lavora e insieme a Matteo e al loro figlio, fanno un giro al mercato di Porta Palazzo e al mercato delle pulci chiamato Balon. Poiché Aisha ha già fatto la spesa, allora a Porta Palazzo non compra niente. Al Balon ogni volta che va, c’è davvero molta gente che arriva per trovare delle occasioni  e in effetti oggi ci sono davvero tanti oggetti incredibili e vintage. Oggi Matteo ha comprato un vecchio telefono e anche una macchina fotografica antica degli anni sessanta. Dopo il loro giro al mercato Aisha e Matteo si fermano a mangiare del pesce fritto in un posto a Porta Palazzo e poi vanno al cinema Massimo a vedere un film. A loro gli piace molto il cinema e hanno deciso che il prossimo anno vogliono andare a vedere la mostra del cinema di Venezia. Ma quest’anno non possono ancora andare perché Aisha deve lavorare molto. Ad Aisha nel tempo libero piace leggere dei libri gialli mentre Matteo preferisce ascoltare musica blues. Matteo capisce il francese ma non lo parla. Aisha invece parla l'arabo el’amazigh, il francese e l’italiano. Tutti e due parlano anche inglese.
