Today is the national holiday called Emperor's birthday holiday in Japan. Luckily, it was a nice weather and a little warm for Feburary. Thanks to it, I saw many people played with their children in the park nearby and enjoyed playing tennis in the athletic field. The apartment I rent is located next to the tennis court. Many eldery people have enjoyed playing tennis since this morning and they all seem to get a lot of energy! My new year resolution is to make more time to work out and I'm planning on goingto the gym after work on weekdays. I was pretty busy working last year and I often thought I needed some time away from work. Unlike last year, I'm satisfied to have kept my pace so far. Unfortunately, we are facing challenges like the recession all over the world and surging inflation. Massive layoffs started in many different kind of companies. The devastated earthquake happened to along the border between Turkey and Svria. The news said more than 50,000 people have died. As many people know, the war between Russia and Ukraine shows no sign of stopping. This year has been very tough for plenty of people all over the world. I really hope that everything is getting back to normal!
