Today, I visited Kanteibyo, a Chinese temple in Chinatown. I was surprised by how different the omikuji process was from the Japanese style. It felt very special and spiritual. Experiencing another culture’s traditions made me think more deeply about the meaning behind these rituals. I really enjoyed it.
