I am going to talk about several of the characters I like. The first one is Kagome. She is very outgoing, kind-hearted and brave, although she is a teenage girl, but she shoulders the responsibility of saving the world in ancient times. I guess this part resonates with us because we are small people in our real lives and can’t make a difference in the real world, while deep inside, we still want to be able to save the world. The second character I like is Inuyasha. He can run very fast and he has inherited a powerful sword from his father: Tessaiga, which means it can break anything in the world. So he always defeat the monsters with that sword. Sometimes he is a little stubborn and can’t think about the big picture, so he needs to cooperate with his partners. But most of the time he is the one who always fights for the ones he loves until death. I guess that is the heroism many men strive for. The third character I like is Kagura. She is an antagonist in the anime. She can control the wind and use it as a weapon to slay people. She has a very cool transportation tool which is a big feather. She sits on it and can appear and disappear without a trace. The most important part is her personality is that like wind, she values freedom most and always plots against her big boss–the ultimate mastermind: Naraku. Finally, she is killed by the big bad guy [spoiler alert!], but she fights for her freedom until her death which should be highly respected. Also, she helps the good group a lot throughout the whole journey, which makes audience cry when she is poisoned to death by the bad guy. ( She is the only character who made me burst into tears when I saw her dying...).
