I don't understand this. - How is the alias related to the tattoo? So confusing. The alias comes from the tattoo?

I think this is an episode description for some streaming service, since it refers to an episode of the TV show "Grey's Anatomy". The character Bailey cited in the text is a black woman that is constantly called "Nazi" for being strict and firm in the way she runs her students at the hospital. Since the episode is about an ACTUAL nazi man and his racists and fascists behaviours, the team decides not to call her by that "alias" any longer. The text is confusing and not suited for studying since it lacks a lot of side information to be properly interpreted. It is okay if it is a synopsis for an episode description, though; since people watching are alredy familiar with the information.

You're right, that doesn't make sense. I think there are some words missing there.

This isn’t a very accurate use of the word “alias”, which is usually a name you give yourself to deceive others and/or hide who you really are. But something more precise would be longer (such as “pejorative nickname”) so it’s a reasonable word choice.

Okay okay, so with the context it should say "after SEEING the wounded paramedic's swastika tattoo" or something like that.
