Noticing the feelings in my body. Noticing my emotions during an encounter with someone. Notic￾ing patterns in my behavior that may not be serving me. Why the word (serving) in prsesent,as it cant be adjective or noun because it follow by pronoun(me)?

'Serving' is a verb here. It is used in the present continuous tense with the modal verb, 'may' so the auxiliary verb 'be' is in the root form. Let me illustrate how this tense is used. My behavior is serving me. (present continous, affirmative) My behavior is not serving (present continuous, negative) My behavior may be serving me. (present continous, affirmative with modal verb) My behavior may not be serving me. (present continuous, negative with modal verb)

Hello Hazem, If I understand correctly, your question is about what the verb “serving” means or refers to in this sentence. The word “well” is implied at the end. So the full phrase would be “behavior that may not serving me well”, as in, it not being a good thing. Therefore, the passage is basically saying that he does not like the patterns in his behavior. Hope that helped!
