Hi everyone! While being covid positive I wanted to share some thoughts. I've been using italki for about a year so far and I'm really happy to have made that decision. I strongly believe that my English has improved in so many aspects, even if I'm aware of the fact that I'm still far from what I call "talking like a native". One year ago I was terrified of English, I was unconfident and felt inferior compared to so many people who I heard spoke really good English. I know that I'm still making mistakes, that my vocabulary is not wide as I'd want it to be and that the road is still long in order to achieve a complete fluency but I'm working hard on it and I'm grateful to have joined this Community.
