In English, the present indicative (not subjunctive) is used after “hope”. People can also use “will”, but the use of “will” is considered a bit colloquial. Verbs that generally do govern the subjective (when the mood is indeed subjunctive) include “insist” and “suggest”, although British speakers don’t usually bother with it (the subjunctive is much more alive in American English).
