How is "enjoy the advantage" different from "take the advantage"? Do they sound quite different? Thank you in advance.

This sounds like a competition or sport. You can enjoy the advantage of you are in the lead, or the other team has a player sent off, or you go into the second leg with an away goal. You take the advantage by capitalising on it. If the opponents get their goalkeeper sent off, and he's a really good goalkeeper, and his replacement is one of the defenders, you should take the advantage. Make the most of it. Exploit their weakness or vulnerability. Or maybe your pawn in chess has become a queen, and now you have two queens. You can take the advantage and corner the king. Use them to take out their queen. They can both mean to use the advantage. You are in a good position and you should take action.

"Enjoy the advantage" - meaning you already have an advantage, and now you're enjoying it by using that advantage. Example - James is enjoying the advantage of being taller than Mike in the Olympic race. "Take the advantage" - meaning you are being presented with an advantage, or you have the opportunity to grab an advantage *you don't yet have* therefore you're being told to take or use the advantage. Example - When James saw that Mike was getting tired in the boxing match, he took advantage of it and gave Mike some powerful punches on his face.

As written, neither are very natural 'take advantage of" is common, and has several different but related meanings. I'm going to take advantage of my time off to travel. (use with a positive benefit) The taxi driver took advantage of the rider's poor English to overcharge him. (treated him unfairly, you can also say 'take unfair advantage') You could say 'enjoy an advantage' but it isn't common and would just mean 'has an advantage' White enjoys an advantage in this chess position because he has more space. (alternative to 'has')

Enjoy the advantage suggests you already have the advantage over something or someone so you should enjoy it. Take the advantage means you have the opportunity to use an advantage above someone.
