To come up against something means to face a particular problem or obstacle. I'll go along with what Pierre says, but it isn't something I would ever say. If I was driving and came to a tree that was blocking my way, I would say "while driving, my way was blocked by a fallen tree". Or, if I merely saw the tree but the tree was not blocking me, I would say "while driving, I came across a fallen tree".

As per Pierre’s examples. I would suggest ‘came across’ in your sentence. Also check spelling driving not dryving.
