Hi! I learned several languages and what helped the most was speaking to native speakers. I also made sure to listening to a lot of content in my target language and read books. I think that studying a language requires a specific plan/system to follow but at the beginning you can just have a gist of it without actively studying it in order to know if it's the right language for you. Also, I think that having a language partner can help having more conscious intention to pursue the learning since you can test your level in anytime with them

Hi! 👋 I think conversations (with tutors or ordinary speakers) are the most helpful, especially if they are interesting or funny. Practicing with native speakers is great, but even fully fluent speakers of the language can be just as helpful. Two methods I also use are reading out loud every day and the "shadowing" technique. What do you think?

Hi, in my opinion, it is more useful to have full immersion conversations with native speakers, but it's not that easy and depends on your skills, listening and repetition works for me. A tutor is useful to learn basics, native speakers to learn how to speak fluently, but curiosity is the booster. Often I start with music, then try to translate lyrics to understand what they're saying and then piece by piece add a new word and try to make sentences.
