Merhaba. There are very good explanations regarding the meaning, so I'll skip to some hints about grammar. I will leave detailed explanations aside, and give examples directly:
(birine) bir şey lazım=(someone) needs something
bir şey lazım=something is needed
I need milk. Bana süt lazım.
You need milk. Sana süt lazım.
For this job we need you. Bu iş için sen bize lazımsın.
To make this cake, 3 eggs are needed. (I know in English you don't generally say like this, you would say "... you need 3 eggs" but this is for the sake of giving an example) Bu pastayı yapmak için 3 yumurta lazım.
bir şey yapmak zorunda (think of it as an auxiliary verb)=must do something
I must run. Koşmak zorundayım.
You must hurry up. Acele etmek zorundasın.
Öğrenci çok çalışmak zorunda. The students must study a lot.
I hope these examples helped. If you have further questions, please ask. Have a good day!

Merhaba Aya, I'm Elif!
"Lazım" means something is needed, or required: Kek yapmak için süt lazım. (In order to make a cake, milk is needed.); Saat 3'te gitmem lazım. (I need to go at 3 o'clock.)
"zorunda" means you "must" do something strictly: Mezun olmak için sınavı geçmek zorundayım. (I must pass the exam in order to graduate)
I hope this helps!
