Hello everyone, I am Marwa and today I will talk about my job. I graduated from the phonetics and linguistics department in the Faculty of Arts. These studies qualified me to work as a speech therapist. I spent two years after graduation in fear thinking about whether I could really handle special needs children but one day I decided to put my fears behind me. First, I trained then I worked alone without any help from my colleagues ( also unsupervised). I loved those children so much . Being a speech therapist gave me an apportunity to get a job abroad, so I travelled to Kuwait where I spent five years there, but because of corona pandemic, I lost my job and had to return to Egypt . Now, I do not want to work as a speech therapist anymore. I want to change careers because now I feel like I have no energy to give. I hope I have made the right decision.
