Apparently Italki doesn't provide its users with an explanation as to why their applications to teach may be declined. It would therefore seem potential tutors and teachers are singled out in a very biased and discriminatory way. I'll report below the text of the email in question. Maybe some of you have had a similar experience and can relate to this. In such case, feel free to share it. Trasparency is everything. "Hi Marco,Thank you for your application to teach on italki.Unfortunately, your application was declined for one or more of the reasons below: After careful consideration, we’ve decided to not take your application further and unfortunately we can’t provide feedback. We know completing a teacher application isn’t easy, and we appreciate the time and effort you took to complete it. Thank you for choosing us, and wish you the best." I think this is not the reply you would expect from a company that purport themselves to be professional and advocates of equal opportunities.

Well that's vague. This interface isn't easy to navigate through either. Might uninstall. Gonna sleep on it.
