Come up vs. come out, what's the difference? I know these are two of the most common phrasal verbs, but I still don't know how to use them in context? Could you please help me and tell me what's the difference and what context do I have to use them into? Thanks in advance.

Come up is used when: (1) moving towards something (2) something is mentioned (3) something appears (4) something has or will happen ‘Someone just came up to me and asked for my number.’ ‘What points came up at the meeting?’ ‘Your name will come up on the screen if you register now.’ ‘Something just came up and I am going to have to cancel our appointment.’ Come out is used when (1) to go somewhere/out (2) something is published (3) something or someone appears (4) results (5) something is stained and you manage to take the stain away ‘Would you like to come out with us for dinner tonight?’ ‘When will the new series come out?’ ‘John finally came out from his room’ ‘My answers have come out wrong and I don’t know why.’ ‘Did the stain come out?’ Hope this helps. Feel free to message if you have any other questions :)
