I like Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter books and movies. I like them because I relate to them in many ways and they have taught (past form of the verb: to teach) me many things throughout the movies. Firstly, I am very studious and considered a top student in my school. I also enjoy reading and I'd rather read than doing anything else in class. Secondly, I relate to Draco because of the high expectations he had to satisfy. I'm the firstborn in my family. Because of this, my parents always try to push me and don't expect anything less but the best. I struggle with anxiety but I can't talk to anybody about this lest they will see me as a weakling or a vulnerable person. Hermione has taught me that strength isn't the only thing that gets you through life. Studies are also very important but at the same time having good and positive friends is good. Draco taught me that sometimes we have to say no to people and try not to impress them. His life itself was complex. This made me realize that trying to impress people will only give me more trouble and pain. He taught me to overlook / forget about people's family, their religion and their country.
