Most important or more important?
I'm reading a book and it says the following:
"From the translator’s internal perspective, the activity is most important"
But I don't know whether it should be more importat instead of most important.
Is there a nuance between both?

'The most important' is the superlative form, so it implies it is more important than any other activity.
'More important' is the comparative form, which is used to compare 2 things/ group. So, it would imply that it is more important than another activity.

They are both correct, but they are not equal.
Saying that something is "most important" can either mean a) that it is more important than anything else or b) that it is simply very important (not necessariy in comparison to anything else).
On the other hand, to say something is "more important" is to necessarily compare it to something else. (activity A is more important than activity b).
