Question - Nice, alternative ways to say "thank you" for people who taught me something valuable Hi guys :) I've posted many questions since I joined italki. People on italki are so nice that I've been taught a lot of valuable things from them. (Yes, it's you!) I'm feeling so grateful to them, but I have only few words to convey my appreciation, such as "thanks", "thanks a lot", "that helps a lot", which seems not enough for the value they gave me. If you have any ideas about the suitable words in this situation, please share it on the comment. I really appreciate. Thank you in advance.

In addition you could also use the following to express your thanks: Thanks a million. I'm eternally grateful. I sincerely appreciate your guidance. Thank you for those pearls of wisdom.

こんにちはちひろさん! When you want to put more emphasis on an idea or emotion you are expressing, it can always be done by using an adjective or adverb. examples: "I am extremely thankful...." "Thank you so very much for....." " I am immensely grateful to you" By doing this, you will avoid using phrases that are potentially awkward, too intense, or inappropriate for the situation. 頑張ってください
