As you know there're many languages in India... So was it English or Hindi or other languages please?

Yes, you are right, indeed he is very famous.

And yes, he also did some translation work, as far as I know he translated Bengali to English and English to Bengali both.

@ shiny royal: Thank YOU so much! And I'm glad to get a Good answer! I've seen somewhere says that Tagore tried to translate some poems in English and that confused me-anyway I didn't know the first language. His works are famous all over the world.
