I think Teach Yourself Turkish book and Pimsleur approach would be great, besides watching Turkish series with subtitles, not dubbed. Also, listen to songs. Songs are a great way for fun learning.

have been learning turkish , it is a very lovely language, i mean every language has their own soul but turkish has a very unique soul . my suggestion is , got a passion about tyrkish ,maybe u will get a turkish gf or go to turkish and loved there soemthing like that , then u will understand it naturally , it just came with it. good luck.
