Pam, here is a moment you must have in mind: while talking with people whose native language is different than you are taking in, you will get the mistakes that your partners do. And if you don't know how to say something correctly, you can think that the manner he said is correct and memorize it. That way it become your mistakes, and you can make them in future.

I think the better would be talking with native speakers only.

However, It's a good idea if you just want to get over your fears about start speaking.
