How many hours do you spend on your target languages per day?

Hi, language learners, how are your learning plans going?

Let's do a survey of how people squeeze out time for their target languages and how many hours they spend on them everyday!

I'll be the first one to share:D

As a high school student who's already got bound up in schoolwork , I let language learning occupy all my spare time ,spending five hours on it per day during weekdays and longer when on weekends. My day is spread out ,starting at 4:30 am.

I do not spend many hours working on grammar but I probably watch television or videos in my target language about three hours per day, including the 45 minutes per day that I watch while I work out on a treadmill at my gym.  On days that I work, I spend about an hour listening to the radio in my target language or listening to teaching CDs or podcasts while I drive to and from work.   On days I do not work, I spend another 2 to 3 hours per day on italki in language exchanges or lessons.   On weekends, I usually read some books in my target language.

It adds up to quite a few hours, but most of what I am doing is just substituting Spanish for English while I do things that I would be doing for entertainment and relaxation: watching TV, listening to music, reading, and talking to others.

I think it depends on the level

I'm learning Japanese now I'm still a beginner I started with words and grammar I can't memorize a lot of words and grammar rules in one day because I will forget them so I just spend one hour because I don't know what else to do :D

but it's easier to spend more time if you're already familiar with the language like English

e.g.  I like cooking and I watched a video about cooking but I can't say I spent one hour today studying English :)
