Russian people usually use "нормаль" to answer the greeting as "How are you going?" Is it true? I heard that Russian people prefer answer "нормально" instead of others because they are unwilling to show their real emotion and have thoughts of "Things will develop in the opposite direction when they become extreme".So even everything goes well they would not say "хорошо“.Is that true?

On the question "How are you going" I always answer "Нормально", but some people can say more.
It's just a habit

Hedy, I don't know:) I don't use this word. Since I remember myself, I find it uninformative.

I normally say "just terrible" 'like shit" "better don't even ask" and 'very well'.

Maybe I am a little bit cheeky, the more seriously they are,the stronger willingness for me to moon them over.I like serious people because I am also that kind of person.
