Hello. I wonder, which version is correct: "Automated Tracing Improved by Convergence Recognition" or "Automated Tracing Improved through Convergence Recognition"?
*** Tracing is a process of gathering execution information of a program.
*** Automated Tracing is a tracing process which is done by a controlling system -- a user can relax.
*** Improved by/through Convergence Recognition means that the controlling system analyzes data gathered so far and when curtain counters (parameters) converge against 0, the system decides to stop tracing.
"By" or "Through"?

Since 'convergence recognition' is a process/method of doing something, 'through' sounds like the better choice to me.
'By' would also be acceptable though and both would be taken to mean the same thing.
