Use a word How would i use "חקה" in a sentence?

If it's in a textbook, it should come in a sentence. If a textbook gives you a list of words without a context they could be used in, then you'd better get rid of it :) When you you learn a language, context is the king cause words come together, there are patterns you should be able to identify.

With "חקה" there are two possibilities :

1. It is used in some kind of instruction for an exercise telling you to imitate what is said or written. "Listen to this word and imitate the pronunciation" 

תקשיב למילה הזאת וחקה את הגייתה. 

2. The word was written with nikud חִקָּה  which means "he imitateted" 

לשחקן היה מבטא אנגלי מצוין, הוא חיקה בקלות כל דובר אנגלית.

I'm not actually sure, its in my language book, Ithink it means to be imitated or mimicked. Is this a real word?

Can you write the English word for what you asked?

Maybe the word you are looking for is spelled differently because I'm not sure about the particular meaning that you meant for "חקה".
