Most of Turkish songs talk about " unreciprocated love" "seperation anxiety from  the lover"  "a lover that doesn't care"  "a supposedly lover who even does not know who you are because never notices you"  "a lover who dies unexpectedly or gets sick and dies before holding hands or get an innocent kiss"  Almost each song is a  sad song about a sobbing story like those.  They call this "platonic love."

In the USA, sometimes  they ask me after i translate what the song says.  The response is " don't you have no song about happiness, joy, and enjoyment.  Why do you liste to these? "  I hardly come up with an answer.  This must be the Middle-Eastern and Mid-Asia mentality.  Misery sells.     People who writes the lyrics love to talk about misery and people who listens them find somehing to relate to their own lives. 

Ozbeks, do you like mostly sad songs too to identfy or keep alive your miseries when you listen them?

Har: This might be "love" in Azeri.  We call it "Ask"

Rahmat Arapca degil mi?   probably tessekkur is as well.  Araps are using Shukran.  We say it with S (with a hook underneath)= Sh.

What is you're welcome.  In Turkey we say "bir sey degil"  meaning "it is not a big deal" or close to don't mention it.
