I’ve been using Duolingo for to learn Japanese. And I’m bit confused about Japanese grammar. Yesterday’s activity was so confusing me .
~ 水は好きじやないです。
水がうめたいです。
オブジェクトが同じでも記事が変更される理由? I mean why this article “ が“ changed to ”は“❓

水は好きじゃないです>>This highlights how I think about water
水が好きじゃないです>> This highlights something I do not like drinks
水は冷たいです>>This emphasizes the state of water
水が冷たいです>> This highlights which drinks are cold

Well, All the Japanese people can use ’は' and 'が' in the right way. but little of us can expalin the logic behind it.
I'll try to think up the logic with which you can speak Japanese less painfully.
So technically both sentences are correct but the statements differ slightly from one another?
I feel your pain, I am struggling with Japanese because the sentence structure does not make sense to me. I feel like there is no specific rule that applies to most cases, you kind of have to know it which is quite challenging to learn. I am also using duolingo but I found it more helpful than text books because it sounds more natural. I know Japanese don't use 私は often as they try to omit it whenever possible. Dolingo keeps sentences true to that and makes you rearrange the sentences over and over to help with practice so I like it.
Anyway, best of luck in your Japanese, I totally get your confusion, you are not alone!
