Like i said, I think it depends on what your native language is. For English speakers, Dutch is pretty easy compared to others, as is German, (and the other way round too) , followed by the Romance languages of Spanish, French, Italian, etc. That’s because they’re just closer grammatically and in their vocabulary. The Eastern languages, like Russian, I would think, would be hard (not impossibly hard), but the Asian languages are just off the scale hard for an English speaker. But, in spite of that, I think all foreign language learning is hard, regarding any foreign language. No one should ever say any language is „easy“ to learn. It always is upsetting to hear people say, „Oh English is easy.“ No, it’s not. You can tell that by just casually perusing the posts here on this board. It‘s not easy for most of the non-natives posting here. It’s not something you master in a matter of a few months. Some languages are easier than others to learn for some people, compared to others, but no language is „easy“.
