The truth is, the "Community" sections of italki (Articles, Notebook, Answers, Language Partners and Discussions) are really really bad.

Italki's team should pay more attention and organize all content here. There is a lot of new meaningless and repetitive topics each minute. This website could be so much better but they just don't want to take care of it. They just focus on '"classes" (Find a Teacher). The free part of the italki is a complete mess and it is sad.

To be honest, its annoying! There is no filter with bad and repetitive topics/issues.

PLEASE, PAY ATTENTION!

Because you were blocked for a while! Welcome back, Alice.

I think italki team restored your profile after checking blocked accounts because of spam words.

I actually added a comment about you here when I found out you were blocked after not being able to open your discussion that I took part in:

No one knows what these spam words are :) So I’m afraid you can’t be careful enough because you don’t know what to avoid. Only italki team know these spam words and of course they don’t share them with members.

Your discussion didn’t violate any of italki guidelines and your profile was restored because italki team check blocked accounts due to spam words once every 24 hours except on weekends and national holidays in China. This happened to many of us and our profiles were restored shortly after.
