The Oxford Learner's Dictionaries are an excellent resource.
"To drive" has multiple meanings.
1 to operate a vehicle so that it goes in a particular direction
I drove to work this morning.
2 drive somebody (+ adv./prep.) to take somebody somewhere in a car, taxi, etc.
Could you drive me home?

"I eat him" is grammatically correct but implies that you're eating a human. Any other food would be "it". In "I drive him" "him" isn't the car but a person as well. If you want to express that you're operating a car, you would say "I drive it". But if you want to express that you're taking someone by car to another place, you would say "I drive him", like "I drive my uncle to the station".
